Concert Band - Grade .5 - Beginner

 Arena Rock pays tribute to the generation of huge rock stars and rock bands of the 1980's. Arena rock, as it later became known, became a way of life as bands played concerts, filling huge athletic stadiums completely full of excited and dedicated fans. This piece brings a snapshot of the 1980's rock genre to the beginning band ensemble, allowing them to collaborate and play alongside a real, live rock band! Your students will love performing this work, especially since it gives them the opportunity to put on their own rock show, including parts for an actual rock band formed by musicians of your choosing (advanced students in your ensemble, guest high school musicians, school staff, or area adult musicians).
