Concert Band - Grade 3.5 - Medium Easy

 Commissioned by the 2015-2016 Central DeWitt, Iowa, High School Band, Crossroad Journey explores the theme of a crossroads, in its many forms. Not only the obvious crossings of road, rail, and geography, but also that of generations, eras, and musical styles. This is a great selection in meeting music education standards for the area of composition and improvisation as the work includes an easy improvisation section accessible for even beginning band students.
